Prime Minister Edi Rama attended the competition for the master plan for the development of the former Circus area in the center of Tirana on Monday.
In his speech, Rama stated that this project, which attracted a large number of foreign architects, is proof that Tirana serves as a locomotive of the country’s development.
“This is another important milestone we aim to place on the country’s path, where Tirana is the locomotive of an epochal transformation. Thanks to these developments involving a great number of international architects, new opportunities are being created for young people who practice this profession and live in a country that today serves as an open university, enabling them to gain valuable knowledge through interaction with highly distinguished professionals in this field,” said Rama.
