The COVID-19 situation in our country continues to roll out at an unalarming rate. In the last 24 hours, 138 new cases were registered in our country and 5 citizens unfortunately lost their lives because of the virus.

In the last 24 hours, 465 citizens have recovered bringing the total number of recoveries to 103,066 since the beginning of the pandemic.

The COVID designated hospitals in Tirana and three regional hospitals are currently treating 160 patients, 16 of whom in the intensive care unit and 4, intubated.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection asks citizens to keep exercising caution, as the vaccination process continues across the country.
