Nine people died from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, while another 217 tested positive to the virus.
The number of new infections detected has seen a steady decline in the past month, as opposed to daily deaths which have been on the rise.
202 people recovered in the last day, taking the total number to more than 169.000 from the beginning of the pandemic.
In total, authorities estimate 6,274 active cases, of which 153 are hospitalized and 24 in critical condition.
The official COVID-19 death toll in Albania is 2,829.
