Five people died from the coronavirus in Albania over the course of the last 24 hours, while 516 tested positive.
In addition, the ministry recorded 597 recoveries, taking the number of people who have won the battle against the virus at over 187,500.
Authorities estimate 7,718 active cases across the country, of which 157 are being treated at two separate hospital facilities in Tirana.
Anyone older than 16 can get the COVID jab, while +65 citizens are eligible for booster shots.
Albania has mainly relied its vaccine campaign on Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Sinovac.
Only around 32.82% of the population is fully jabbed, leaving Albania far behind the EU average of 66.82%.
The COVID death toll, according to official figures, stands at 3,068.
