Nine citizens died in a single day- from COVID-19 in Albania, as the death toll climbed to 2,902.

The Ministry of Health informed that after testing 3,664 citizens, 591 had resulted positive.

Active cases are estimated at around 7,528, of which 160 are being treated at the hospital.

30.57% of Albania’s some 2.838 million population has been fully jabbed, a figure much lower compared to neighboring countries.

The total COVID-19 case count has reached 183,873.
