COVID-19 took the lives of 7 citizens in the past 24 hours in Albania, as the Ministry of Health confirmed that a total of 820 new cases have been identified.
In addition, the number of hospitalization is on the rise as 223 patients are currently admitted to COVID-designated hospitals, 18 of whom are exhibiting severe symptoms.
The rise in the new case count has also resulted in a rise of active cases as well, leading to a total of 12,483 known active patients in the entire country.
In the last 24 hours, 1 075 citizens were confirmed to have recovered, as the Technical Expert Committee decided to keep in force all existing anti-COVID measures amongst which the police curfew, negative test requirements upon entry into the country, and wearing protective masks in all indoor spaces.
