According to former PM Sali Berisha, the eight candidatures for president proposed by DP’s parliamentary group, are only part of Rama’s farse and don’t deserve his comment.

“Everything you’re seeing is a disgusting parody; another wicked evidence of the extreme exploitation of individuals by Edi Rama, who for certain reasons decide to endure this humiliation, but they don’t represent the DP whatsoever. Everything Edi Rama does with Alibasha is a practice of the denigration, disfiguration, and maltreatment of a couple of people who only God knows what their troubles are,” – said the former DP leader.

In a meeting with the press, Sali Berisha also commented on the recent statement made by German CDU MP, Krichbaum, who warned of a possible suspension of the Democratic Party in Albania, if individuals from the past come back as leaders – referring here to Berisha.

“It’s a pity that an MP from Bundestag allows himself to intervene in a free and democratic process taking place in a sister party. It’s even more so when you realize that he does this as a follow-up of a decision made through the corruptive lobbying of Edi Rama and George Soros,” – added Berisha.

Berisha also spoke about his trial with Blinken in France. He said that the lack of French nationality and Blinken’s immunity has hampered the judicial process but that this won’t prevent him from seeking justice until the very end.
