Demands for professional education in Berat are increasing. “Kristo Isak” school offers a series of studies that enable young people to find jobs.

Young people are more and more oriented towards professional education. Fatjona is one of the students at the vocational high school “Kristo Isak” in Berat. She is studying in the social and health service branch, specialized in child care.

Fatjona has chosen to develop her internship at the “Lira” Social Center, which offers residential and day care for 75 children and teenagers.

Vocational education gives young people the opportunity to practice, in parallel with their studies.

The possibility of employment immediately after finishing school has increased the interest in enrolling in vocational schools. For the 2024-2025 school year, in the 10th grade, there is an increase of 10% compared to the previous year.
