Emiriana Sako, the acting deputy mayor of Durres, has discharged the deputy mayor Arber Braho without providing any motivation behind the move.

However, the decision comes only shortly after Braho had a feud with former mayor Vangjush Dako.

Braho accused Dako of continuing to exert influence and ties with organized crime and the mafia.

“You’re still behaving as if you’re the mayor and you’re not letting the city breathe from your continues thefts”, wrote Braho in a status shared on WhatsApp.

Braho is the son of Socialist MP Spartak Braho and was appointed deputy mayor in 2013.
