NATO’s Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg met with Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti today in Brussels to discuss the latest developments in the Western Balkans.
In their meeting, NATO’s chief reiterated NATO’s endorsement in reactivating talks between Belgrade and Pristina and emphasized that dialogue is “the only way to achieve a lasting political solution”.

PM Kurti said that another topic discussed between the two officials was the importance of NATO’s presence in Kosovo, adding that membership in the military alliance would contribute to the security of the region, as well as of Europe.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti will also be meeting with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the EU Commissioner for Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi, and EU’s diplomacy chief Josep Borrell.
