In the municipality of Dimal, the “Open Day” activity took place, where the FA (Armed Forces) have started the recruitment of young people near the FA. This activity also consists in the promotion of combat vehicles of the air and ground forces, as well as civil emergencies.

“We continue to be in the recruitment campaign which continues until January 9, 2024, we see a growing trend of young people, especially from the city of Berat, there are many interested in becoming part of the Armed Forces”, said Major Denisa Pëllumbaj.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Dimal and the deputy of the area appreciated the initiative of the FA for recruitment and the opportunity given to young people to become part of the Armed Forces.

“This is a novelty, the first time that such a promotion and a promotion for army recruitment has happened, and I wanted to appeal to all young people that this is an opportunity for them, which not only because is a employment opportunity, but also for the fact that they become even more prepared”, said Juliana Memaj, mayor of Dimal.

Colonel Gezim Marku estimates that most of the young people who are being recruited are oriented towards operational units.

The district of Berat is ranked as one of the districts with the most recruitments in this campaign, where the city of Berat has the highest number of new recruits.
