The head of foreign policy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, reacted after the removal of some of the barricades in the north of Kosovo.
Through a post on social media, Borrel said that diplomacy prevailed and emphasized that violence cannot be a solution.
In addition, he also called for urgent progress in the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
“Diplomacy prevailed in reducing tensions in the north of Kosovo. Violence can never be a solution. Responsible leadership of President Vucic and Prime Minister Kurti. EU, USA and KFOR worked as a team. Thanks to everyone who got involved. We now need urgent progress on the dialogue process,” Borrell tweeted.
