Doctor Malbor Duka commented on the arrest of resuscitation doctor Fitim Marku, four days ago, after he was allegedly caught red-handed while taking a bribe.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, Duka claimed that the same people who arrested the doctor in the afternoon, act as drivers for individuals with criminal records by nighttime.
“I saw people in hoodies arrest an anesthesiologist. It is these same people from the Operational Forces who in the evening act as drivers for individuals with criminal records. For me, there is nothing sadder than this. The law in Albania is used selectively; it is used to oppress the weakest,” – said Duka.
In addition, he further emphasized that justice institutions are becoming a symbol of injustice, and yesterday’s arrest was just another example of this.
