Kosovo’s Health Workers Union organized a rally in front of the Ministry of Health.

Their first request was higher salaries and accused health minister Arben Vitia that he had allegedly neglected health care workers during the pandemic.

“The situation is worse than ever. The rights of nurses, doctors, and the entire chain of command, have been violated”, said Blerim Syla, the head of Kosovo’s Health Workers Union.

In front of health institutions, the union demanded an increase in salaries.

The salary supplements were the first point, for which they accused and attacked Minister of Health, Arben Vitia.

The President of the Union of Doctors of Kosovo, Blerim Syla stated that during all these months in the pandemic, the Minister had totally neglected the employees of the health sector.
