The Democratic Party has enrolled for a second time near the Central Election Commission (CEC) in order to run at the by-elections due on March 6.

The Democratic Party presented a certificate dated January 24 which describes Lulzim Basha as the party’s leader.

In its decision, CEC argued that Basha is the person authorized to submit the names of DP’s candidates at the local by-elections.

On March 6, the citizens of Vora, Durres, Lushnje, Dibra, Rrogozhina, and Shkodra will head to the polls to elect their new mayor.
