“To me, the ruling is on a scandalous level”, declared the interim leader of the Democratic Party Enkelejd Alibeaj, on the recent verdict of the Court of Tirana.

He also confirmed the intention to appeal the verdict and come up with a lawsuit against the judge that gave the verdict.

“We lodged a complaint about the registration of the December 18 Assembly. The case is at the Court of Appeal, together with all the pieces of evidence. We will appeal today’s verdict”, declared Alibeaj.

The Court of Tirana said on Friday that the amendments that took place during the National Assembly convened by Berisha on December 11 are legitimate.
