Democrat MP Ervin Salianji called on party leader Lulzim Basha to resign.

In a post shared on Facebook on Friday, Salianji accused Basha of trying to buy more time in order to stay in office for as long as possible, something detrimental for the Democratic Party.

According to him, Basha is waging a war against Democrats, instead of fighting the ruling majority.

“The Democratic Party is a national asset, not a personal one! I stand with the Democrats”, Salianji wrote.
