The Democratic Party submitted on Friday to the Special Anti-Corruption Structure (SPAK) an entire case file on the incinerator affair, where it is suing 50 individuals, including Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The head of the inquiry commission on the case, Jorida Tabaku, declared that the investigation led to a 120-page report, containing 112 pieces of evidence.
Tabaku said during a press conference that SPAK should no longer treat these issues as isolated but as a single issue.
“The group has functioned as a single unit. These companies have taken out bank loans and are inexperienced. Investigate all 50 individuals together. They are the same individuals who control and implement the contracts”, said Tabaku.
