More than 2 in 5 voters of the Democratic Party (43%) think that the December 11 assembly – called for by Sali Berisha – is legitimate.
One in four DP voters (25%) endorse the National Assembly called by Lulzim Basha.
The same amount (24%) thinks that none of the assemblies is actually legitimate.
Euronews Albania’s Barometer asked citizens on the latest developments coming from the Democratic Party, a few days ahead of the two National Assemblies of the DP.
The result from all respondents – regardless of whom they cast the ballot for – indicates that nearly a half (48%) think that neither of the National Assemblies is legitimate.
They mainly support the National Assembly called by the actual leader Lulzim Basha (21%) rather than the one called by Sali Berisha (18%).

The nationwide survey was conducted by MRB and Data Centrum for Euronews Albania with 1,000 face-to-face interviews carried from 20 to 30 November 2021.
