Four Albanians were extradited to Italy, while two others were brought to Albania.
Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with counterparts in Italy and Croatia, finalized the procedures for the extradition through PKK Rinas, of 6 Albanian citizens.
– the citizen Shpëtim Memolla, 52 years old, was extradited to Italy, after the Court of Appeal of Lakuila sentenced him to 8 years and 8 months of imprisonment, for trafficking in narcotics and exploitation for prostitution, carried out in the framework of a criminal organization;
– extradited to Italy, citizen Gentian Kadillari, 46 years old, after the Court of Appeal of Ancona has sentenced him to 5 years, 11 months and 3 days of imprisonment, for theft in aggravating circumstances, possession of weapons without a permit and forgery of documents;
“- the citizen F. Ll., 28 years old, was extradited to Italy, after the Court of Milan assigned the security measure “Arrest in prison”, for the production and sale of narcotics, carried out in the framework of the criminal group;
– the citizen E. G., 45 years old, was extradited to Italy, after the Court of Milan assigned the security measure “Arrest in prison”, for trafficking in narcotics, carried out within the framework of the criminal organization;
– was extradited from Croatia to Albania, citizen O. Sh., 19 years old, after the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, in 2023, sentenced him to 1 year and 8 months of imprisonment, for the criminal offense of “Production and selling narcotics”;
– was extradited from Italy to Albania, citizen Sh. T., 30 years old, after the Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction has sentenced him to 6 months imprisonment for the criminal offense of “Removing a prisoner from his place of residence”.
