In the past 24 hours in Kosovo, 8 citizens have lost their lives because of COVID-19. The data was published by the National Institute of Public Health, which confirmed that 3 146 tests have been conducted and 356 have come out positive.
“In the last 24 hours, 680 patients have recovered bringing the total number of recoveries since the onset of the pandemic to 90.328, whereas the total number of active cases is 11.034,” emphasized IKSHPK.
Unlike other countries in the region, Kosovo continues to face a lack of vaccines. This situation has given rise to many critiques in the address of PM Albin Kurti, who has been targeted by his political opponents, telling him that he hasn’t done enough to procure vaccines against COVID-19.
