According to a report compiled by Democracy in Action (DnV), a network of NGOs promoting free and fair elections through independent monitoring, the participation rate in Kosovo’s mayoral runoff until 3 PM was 23.6%, or around 2% lower than in the first round.

The municipalities where more citizens went to vote were Mamusha (45%), Junik (41), Kllokot (37%), while the opposite was noticed in Prizren (19%) and Dragash (17%).

A significant decline, compared to the first round, was seen in Fushe Kosova, Obiliq, Rahovec, Vushtrri, and Mamusha.

COVID protocol, according to DnV, is not being respected by both electoral staffs, as well as citizens.
