Electoral Reform, OSCE ambassador in Albania meets with Gjiknuri and Alibeaj

The Ambassador of the OSCE Presence in Albania, Clarisse Pasztory, stated that today she held a meeting with the co-chairs of the Electoral Reform Commission, Damian Gjiknuri and Enkelejd Alibeajn.

Through a reaction on the “X” social network, where she also shared photos from the meeting, Pasztory says that she welcomes the resumption of work on Friday and its acceleration in the coming weeks.

“I met today with the chairmen of the Electoral Reform Commission, Damian Gjiknuri and Enkelejd Alibeaj. I welcome the resumption of work on Friday and its acceleration in the coming weeks, with help and expertise from @osceinalbania & @OSCE/ODIHR. We continue the all-inclusive meetings for this important reform”, says the OSCE announcement.

We rimind that yesterday, OSCE reacted to the letter sent by the co-chairs of the Electoral Reform Commission, who requested the attachment of ODIHR representatives to the experts of the commission, to assist their work.

At the start of the new parliamentary session, the OSCE emphasizes that they expect a fully functional Parliamentarian focused on the necessary reforms, starting with the electoral one.
