41% of voters in Durres would pick Socialist nominee Emirjana Sako as their new mayor, if March 6 elections were to be held on this day.

Within the two fronts of the Democratic Party, Berisha’s House of Freedom would sweep more votes.

24.9% of respondents chose his nominee Ardian Muka, in comparison to 11.6% who favored DP’s Luan Hoti.

Euronews Albania’s Barometer polled eligible voters in Durres on the March 6 by-elections.

Undecided voters were at 10.9% meanwhile, 10% said they would not vote.

If we examine DP voters from the general elections, more than half of them (55%) support Ardian Muka in Durres, the candidate of the House of Freedom.

If elections were to be held today, 30% would endorse the candidate of the Democratic Party, Luan Hoti.

These are the results of the survey conducted in Durres from 9 February to 12 February through 1,000 face-to-face interviews by MRB and Data Centrum for Euronews Albania.
