The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has received a congratulatory message from the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of Kosovo’s Independence.

In his message, President Erdogan extended his heartfelt congratulations to President Osmani and the people of Kosovo on behalf of himself and the Turkish nation, emphasizing the historical, human, and cultural ties between the two countries.

“He underlined Turkey’s unwavering support for Kosovo’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and its efforts for international recognition, recalling his country’s role as one of the first nations to recognize Kosovo’s independence,” stated the announcement from the Office of the President of Kosovo.

President Erdogan also highlighted the shared commitment to strengthening and expanding bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest.
