Tomorrow, the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will be arriving in Albania for a one-day visit. During the 9 hours of his stay in our country, Erdogan will be visiting Lac, where the Turkish government built 524 apartment buildings following the devastating 2019 earthquake in our country.
Erdogan will be participating in an inaugurating ceremony, where he will officially present the new buildings, funded by the Turkish government. Also in Lac, the Turkish president will take part in a ceremony dedicated to the city’s main square which will be named after him.
Meetings will then transfer to the capital city, where at 13:00 CET, Erdogan will meet the prime minister, Edi Rama.
At 15:00, a total of 7 agreements will be signed by both governments, including a memorandum of understanding and cooperation protocols in several different fields.
This will be followed by the joint press conference led by Rama and Erdogan.
At 16:00, Erdogan will be participating in the inauguration ceremony of the Et’Hem Beu mosque in Tirana.
The Turkish president will conclude his one-day visit to Albania, with a speech that will mark the beginning of the new parliamentary season in Albania, where he will be a guest of honor.
