Today, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the United States of America for European and Eurasian affairs and at the same time the special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar in an official meeting in Prishtina.
After the meeting, Escobar emphasized that the United States of America supports Kosovo in its Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
“I think you said it very well, it is an unshakable partnership between Kosovo and the United States of America. We also discussed the issue of relations with Serbia, the regional implications of the dialogue, the importance of continuing American support for Kosovo’s independence, sovereignty and security”, said the foreign diplomat.
“It is important to align with European values in this time of crisis in Europe. I wanted to emphasize that the United States fully supports Kosovo in all its Euro-Atlantic aspirations”, he said further.
Gabriel Escobar met earlier with President Vjosa Osmani, where he said that the purpose of his visit is to deepen the US-Kosovo partnership.
