The EU and US Special Envoys at the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, respectively Miroslav Lajcak and Gabriel Escobar, started their three-day visit in Kosovo by meeting first with President Vjosa Osmani.
The President’s Office confirmed that Osmani will release a press statement after the meeting. Additionally, the two diplomats will hold a press conference on Wednesday morning.
Escobar and Lajcak will also meet with PM Albin Kurti around 5 PM.
The agenda also includes other meetings with political leaders and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
The main scope of the visit is to discuss the next steps of the dialogue process that seeks to normalize ties between Prishtina and Belgrade.
