Prime Minister Edi Rama and the ambassador of the European Union, Silvio Gonzato, held a joint conference for the media, after submitting the Progress Report for Albania for 2024.
During the conference, Rama emphasized the importance of the report, inviting those who speak about European integration to read the document carefully.
The Prime Minister pointed out that this report is the most detailed overview of the developments in Albania during the last 12 months, mentioning that Europe and the EC are the biggest blessing for the country.
He described EU integration as an important opportunity for Albania, stressing that the country has progressed in building a strong and common state.

“Whoever talks about the EU and European integration, who goes through the screens or takes the pen through the computer keyboard to talk about this report, they should read it first, because it is an irreplaceable data base for things that make sense. The report is public; they can evaluate it, inspect it. As I said from the beginning, it is the most detailed, most faithful reflection of the reality of the country’s development in these last 12 months,” said Edi Rama.
