EU Ambassador Silvio Gonzato reacted through a post on the “X” platform after the meeting with chief negotiator Majlinda Dhuka.

He says that in the meeting held on Wednesday he told the Minister of State and Chief Negotiator Majlinda Dhuka that there is no more time to lose.

According to him, the acceleration of EU-related reforms from Albania should be the common focus after the successful process of analytical review of the legislation.

“There is no time to waste!

Accelerating EU-related reforms from Albania should be our common focus after the successful due diligence process of the legislation.

This was the main message I conveyed to the Minister of State and Chief Negotiator Majlinda Dhuka during yesterday’s meeting. For this we need strong political leadership, a solid public administration and a proactive engagement with all actors.
