The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has said that the Franco-German proposal has the full support of the European Commission.
According to her, support for the Franco-German proposal is necessary, as she called on Kosovo and Serbia to move forward in this direction.
Der Leyen said that membership does not have a fixed timetable, as according to her, the faster a country reforms, the faster the process moves.
“But, of course, there is also the other side, for example with the non-implementation of the reforms or the non-acceptance of the reforms, then the process slows down”, stated Der Leyen.
