The representative of the Albanian Community in Greece, Etmond Guri, says that the relations between the Albanians and the Greeks in Greece are excellent.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, Guri said that there are over 35,000 marriages between Albanians and Greeks.
However, according to him, Albanians still face issues with their documentation.
“The opinion of Greeks towards Albanians can be seen in many aspects. The first thought is how they look at us from the legal aspect, and the other aspect is the social one; what are the relations of our community with the Greek people? Relationships at the personal level, family, and social levels between the natives are excellent. Currently, we have more than 35 thousand mixed marriages, with Greek citizens. Relations with the Greek people are good and are getting stronger day by day. We are very fine with the Greek people, but we are far behind with the issue of documentation”, he emphasized.
