The former advisor to Prime Minister Edi Rama, Dorian Ducka, refused to comment on the connections with former FBI agent Charles McGonigal.

Contacted by Euronews Albania, Ducka said that he has no comment on the following questions that were asked:

  • What is his connection with the former FBI agent?
  • In which activities it turns out that he is or has been a business partner with the former Albanian intelligence officer Agron Nezaj and what was his role in the meetings with Prime Minister Rama and the former FBI official, where according to the indictment, the former adviser turns out to have been present?

Ducka refused to comment or clarify the fact that his name is mentioned in the indictment by the authorities in the USA, answers which according to him can only be given by the US Department of State.

“I have no comment, you can contact the US Department of Justice if you need more information,” writes Ducka in his response to Euronews Albania.
