Euronews Albania has provided a video of the moment when the alarm sirens sound in Israel.

Journalist Thimi Samarxhiu, who is in Ashkelon, the moment he hears the war signal sirens, runs to go to the armored room.

Even during the live broadcast for Euronews Romania, Thimi Samarxhiu and operator Olti Allmeta were shocked by the rocket and drone attacks. Immediately after the air-raid alarm went off, they rushed into the armored room.

The video also shows the moment when shells are thrown into Israel, while the country is covered in smoke and flames.

“The alarm is sounding! The alarm is sounding! We have to leave. We have to get in here (into the security room). Alarm sirens are being heard everywhere,” said journalist Samarxhiu while rushing to enter a safe room. Hamas is attacking with rockets! We are about 500 meters away from the area where the rocket was launched”, the journalist is heard saying.

Several rocket attacks coming from Lebanon happened a few hours ago, while journalist Thimi Samarxhiu was reporting live for Euronews Albania.

On October 7, Israel faced the biggest attack in recent years by the Palestinian militants of Hamas, who attacked the country by land, air and sea. Israel responded by bombing Gaza, home to 2.2 million Palestinians.

Due to the violence, thousands of people have been killed in Israel and Gaza.
