Euronews Albania has learned the names of the newly appointed Chiefs of Tirana’s Commissariats. In Albania, commissariats are separate police stations – that fall under each District Police Force – and are commanded by a chief commissary.
Below are the names of the new Chief Commissioners in Tirana that became part of the system reshuffle:
- Oliger Torba – from Chief of Commissariat no. 1 gets appointed to Chief at Commissariat no. 5;
- Altin Lila – from Commissariat no.5 – appointed to Commissariat no. 3;
- Bujar Mehmetaj – gets appointed Chief of Commissariat no. 1;
- Edmond Pjetri – gets appointed Chief of Commissariat no. 2;
- Petrit Hala – gets appointed Chief of Commissariat no. 4;
- Alket Shatro – will continue as Chief of Commissariat no. 6;
- Emiliano Pashai – will now lead the Kavaja District Police;
- Sali Skura – appointed as Chief of Shijak District Police;
After getting appointed as new Chief of Police, Gledi Nano, made several changes to the ranks of chiefs, commissioners and deputy commissioners, in several districts around the country.
