Criminalistics expert Artan Rexhepi stated that the professionalism of criminals in Albania has drastically improved through the year.

During his appearance on Euronews Albania’s ‘NOW’ with Erla Mehilli, Rexhepi said that there are no more criminals who kill even outside their target, but before committing the murder, they carefully study and target them.

“Law and order, from 2012 until now, has deteriorated considerably. If there have been fewer murders, it’s because street crimes have been avoided, but it could also be the influence of the mafia and the fact that the professionalism of criminals has increased.

We no longer have criminals who reach out with a Kalashnikov and kill half the bar, but we have criminals who start well, identify their target, study them, and process everything. Professionalization has definitely increased”, he emphasized.
