Interior Minister Taulant Balla expressed solidarity and support after the floods of the last few days in the neighboring country. These large and destructive floods in several regions of Greece have caused deaths and great damage.

“We pray for the lost lifes, their families and we express our solidarity with all those affected by this natural disaster”, said Balla.

In the meantime, he informs that the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Athens has informed the citizens who are in the affected areas, that they can directly contact the Civil Emergency Management Unit of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection at the activated phone number 112 , which is available to citizens who need help.

The minister communicated another way of communication if there are Albanian citizens in Greece, in need or affected by the difficult weather conditions.

“We call on all Albanian citizens affected by the floods in the problematic areas of Greece to contact the Albanian Embassy for any need through the emergency number 𝟎𝟎𝟑𝟎–𝟔𝟗𝟒𝟏𝟔𝟓𝟖𝟏𝟖𝟑, available to citizens on 2𝟰/𝟳 and at the address embassy.athens@mfa .gov.al”, Minister Balla is quoted as saying.
