Journalist Ilir Babaramo said that Prime Minister Edi Rama’s speech in the Assembly of the Council of Europe regarding Dick Marty’s report is folkloric and delayed.
During his appearance on Euronews Albania’s NOW show with Erla Mehilli, Babaramo said that Rama’s speech was intended to cover many other things and to encourage a public debate to cover many other debates, such as those raised in the progress report for Albania.
According to him, this is not the moment to attack this report until it has entered the judicial process, so they should let justice speak.
“Is this the moment to strike this report while it has entered the judicial process, so we should just let the justice speak. Why didn’t he do it for Ramush Haradinaj? Nothing can change now. It impresses me that our leaders, in the last year before they leave power, they see a projection of Comrade Enver, who was waving his finger in ’61, slapping everyone in the face,” said Babaramo.
