Today, university professors held their preannounced protest, where, among other things, they demanded an increase in their salaries.
The protest started at 11:00 in front of the Central Corps building of the Polytechnic University, where all public universities in the country are participating.
“We need a fund for the university. The labor market has many problems”, said one of the professors.
There was not a high number of participants in today’s protest. Meanwhile, classes continue in some universities around the country.
This morning there was also a reaction from Prime Minister Edi Rama about the announced protest.
The head of government underlined that this protest is led by non-gratas, hinting at a possible collaboration with the Democratic Party.
