The arrival of foreign tourists this year has started earlier, giving hope that this will be a good tourist season. This has been evident in the popular tourist areas, in the Fier region, especially in the Archaeological Park of Apollonia.

There are hundreds of daily visitors in groups or families who visit the ancient city, the cult objects located inside it and also enjoy the beauty of nature in this season.

Even foreign tourists have become more frequent even inside the city.

Two German tourists who travel by bicycle give their first impressions of Albania and the countries they visited.

“What impresses me the most are the people here. They are very kind and open. During the trip we shook hands with many people, the children greeted us. The nature is beautiful, we will see how the journey will go until the end. We will definitely suggest this place to our friends”, said Dominik Drexler.

“A day before yesterday we came to Albania. We left Greece on bicycles to come to Fier. The whole trip was by bike. The nature from what we have seen so far is very beautiful. The Vjosa River was fantastic, while this city also seems quite attractive to us,” said Haicom Wrust.

It is a fact that the summer season starts earlier, bringing with it more liveliness and economic activity in the tourist areas of Fier district.
