The Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) has decided to confiscate 100% of the shares of RTV ORA, owned by businessman Ylli Ndroqi.
Today’s GJKKO ruling includes the confiscation and state ownership of RTV ORA.
Lawyers who have been working on this case said that with today’s decision, the court overruled the report issued by experts it had appointed itself.
“The court rejected what its own experts said, that Ylli Ndroqi’s wealth was perfectly legal,” they said.
A month ago, GJKKO refused the request of businessman, Ylli Ndroqi, to remove the seizures of his assets.
In June 2021, the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime asked the Special Court to confiscate 32 assets of Ylli Ndroqi and his family members.
According to SPAK, based on his income and expenses, it results that Ndroqi hasn’t justified 3 million euros of wealth and that during the investigation phase he was once again unable to justify their source again.
