Government approves aid of 1 million euros for the earthquake in Turkey

At this week’s meeting, the government approved Albania’s aid for the earthquake in Turkey in the amount of 1 million euros.

The decision to donate 1 million euros from the Albanian government to help families affected by the earthquake in Turkey was announced by Prime Minister Rama during a telephone conversation with a Turkish television. In the show dedicated to collecting donations for the earthquake, Rama donated the sum of 1 million euros on behalf of the Albanians.

In his speech, the head of government said that Albania does not forget the help provided by Ankara when it was affected by the 2019 earthquake.

“We will not forget what President Erdogan did for our country in the 2019 earthquake. We will be with the Turkish people. We as the Albanian people want to donate 1 million euros”, he said.
