The Albanian government has signed several acts this week, denoting that it is shifting its attention to rebuilding homes that were brought down to rubble due to the powerful 6.4 magnitude earthquake that struck the country on 26 November 2019.

Deputy prime minister, at the same time state minister for reconstruction, unveiled the new acts, which included reconstruction of schools that are under the management of local governments.

He also added that families affected by the earthquake will be soon handed out the key to their new homes.

“This month will be very important for the families affected by the earthquake”, Ahmetaj declared.

Minister Ahmetaj also informed that all apartments and individual units will be finalized by next September.
