Analyst Baton Haxhiu said that the Democratic Party was the “ultimate tower to be conquered” and that this was the main objective of Sali Berisha’s nationwide tour.
Haxhiu also maintained that he had actually expected doors to be broken by Berisha supporters.
“Berisha likes to take over things in this manner, using Molotov, protests, and violence”, said Haxhiu.
Meanwhile, analyst Andi Bushati said that Berisha currently “holds a majority” among Democrats, so that explains why his supporters should be allowed access to the party’s headquarters.
“Is the DP headquarters owned by Basha’s family or is it the center of the Albanian oppositionist movement?”, asked Bushati rhetorically.
On Tuesday, Sali Berisha and his supporters made their second entrance to the DP, but this time it was characterized by violence and broken doors to use the meeting room, which they claim they no longer have access to after the current leader Lulzim Basha changed the door’s lock.
