For Albanians who went on vacation this summer, the main problem they encountered was high prices.
In the survey conducted by Euronews Albania’s Barometer, high prices have been a problem for 90.9% of vacationers.
Another problem for 32.6% of vacationers was the increased traffic, which was not absent this summer, especially in coastal areas.
The lack of public beaches in our country continues to be a problem for 29.3% of vacationers.
But garbage and lack of cleaning were also among the greatest issues faced by Albanians, becoming a concern for 19.7% of vacationers.
The incidents that took place this summer have proven that security remains a problem, a concern that has been identified by 15.4% of vacationers. Another problem for 10.1% of the respondents was the noise and for 9% of them on the list of concerns was bad service.
Of the Albanians who went on vacation this summer, only 1.5% were very satisfied.
49.9% of vacationers were satisfied with this summer’s vacation. While 34.8% of respondents expressed that they were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied.
Meanwhile, 13.4% of the respondents were unsatisfied with their holidays this summer.
The findings are a result of the survey conducted by Euronews Albania’s Barometer, in collaboration with MRB and Data Centrum which carried out 1000 face-to-face interviews, from September 9-21 2022, at a national level.
