The former Socialist Party MP Alqi Blako, has been released from his cell after the GJKKO accepted his request for a milder security measure.

The court accepted his request to replace the previous order that would’ve had him wait for trial in prison, and granted him the right to do so while on house arrest.

Alqi Blako and the former Minister of Environment Lefter Koka are suspected of falsifying official documents on the type of land where the Fieri incinerator would be built.

SPAK proved that it was actually built on arable land, the value of which is considerably cheaper. This forgery brought damages of about 140 thousand euros to the state budget.
