At 3 a.m. on the last Sunday in October, the time turned back 60 minutes.

Now we will sleep 1 hour more. Turning back the clock allows us to have more light in the morning, but it will get darker faster than before.

Psychologist Elidon Shehu said that people need 3 to 5 days to adapt to this change.

According to him, it is the children and the elderly who mainly experience this. Meanwhile, even people with mental health problems, according to Shehu, have problems adjusting to the time change.

“Changing the clock, shortening the sunlight, i.e. exposure to sunlight for a short time in these people causes negative effects, therefore it is recommended for these people and the majority of the population to spend as much time as possible in the peak of the sun,” said the psychologist.

In 2018 there were discussions about not changing the time the European Parliament where it was left up to the governments of respective countries to decide which time they will keep.
