The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, declared that he will not sign any agreement involving the recognition of Kosovo as an independent state.
Vucic emphasized that Serbia “is a part of the world” that is eager for a compromise, however drawing clear “red lines”.
“I will be absolutely under a lot of pressure, but allow me to tell you, I will not sign the recognition of the independence of Kosovo”, the Serbian president said.
He also added that foreign ambassadors are not the ones who make the decisions in the country.
His declaration comes at a time when the dialogue with Kosovo is set to begin soon, where Vucic will meet for the first time Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
