Municipality Ilir Alimehmeti has withdrawn from the primary race for the Tirana Municipality.

The decision was announced in a joint statement to the press with the other candidate Belind Kellici, with whom he ran off in the primaries held the day before.

According to Belind Kellici, a common ground has been found between them to move forward.

“We will adapt the American race model, the presidential model. I have the greatest pleasure to present my right wing in this campaign until May 14, and after May 14 the deputy mayor of Tirana”, said Kellici.
