Only 149 people were discovered to be infected with COVID-19, in the last 24 hours in Albania, out of 2886 suspected tests.

Data published by the Ministry of Health shows that there is a decline for several days now, of hospital admissions as well as fatalities from this virus.

In 24 hours, 3 citizens have lost their lives, whereas the number of hospital admissions in the COVID-designated hospitals has dropped to 174.

In the meantime, vaccination of citizens over 60 is continuing in our country as well as the vaccination of groups that are at risk.

Recently, the vaccination also started for employees of the tourist sector and touristic operators. According to PM Rama, the next group expected to start receiving the vaccine are employees of the public transport system as well as textile producers, but a specific date is still to be announced.
